Columbus Telegram: Down with the BCS? Here’s one way how:

... Simply put, it is my belief that if Boise State and TCU emerge as the top two teams in the BCS, the system will fail due to the NCAA’s inability to allow two teams from non-power conferences, and from smaller markets, to play for the national title. Now, there is a good amount of my own personal paranoia mixed in with this statement, but it seems fitting for these two squads to win out and finish the season undefeated, while having the other top undefeated teams slip at some point, falling in the proverbial trap we have come to know and love.
So to begin, Boise State and TCU will finish the season undefeated, therefore strengthening their rankings in the Harris and USA Today polls, and also raise their BCS stock. Next, the two teams currently ahead of Boise State — Oklahoma and Oregon — will have to lose at some point, as will Auburn, LSU and Michigan State. What I am about to lay out revolves around the thought that two undefeated teams will automatically make the national championship game, no matter their size, market, color scheme or creed. ...
But if the Broncos and Horned Frogs beat the system, literally, and end up facing each other in Glendale, Ariz., in January, then everything in college football will change ... for the better. ...
