Cougars are down 11 starters and/or primary backups to the portal and have now lost their HC, OC and DC. Nine days till the Holiday Bowl. It’s all a joke.

I’ve always believed the portal will change only when the Tennessee‘s and Georgia’s of the world are hurt by the few programs that could potentially have limitless NIL money and resources with a properly motivated base, like Texas and to a lesser extent A&M and a few others.
The best thing that could happen to college football for the long run is for people to lose interest in the short term. I think that happens more quickly if these playoffs are a gigantic dud. That's why I'm hoping for uncompetitive games won by the favorites. Basically, I'm rooting against college football for the time being because I think this current structure sucks.

should have stayed at 4 team playoff. Maybe 8, but 4 likely is where this ends back up. you and I have already talked about our view of how to pick them. your computer idea seems pretty solid, depending on how they formulate it.
I still like the bsc model. Either way, dump the stupid committee.

That doesn't surprise me considering he's from Virginia. I hope things work out for him. He was one of my favorite players. Hate that he scheissed his career off by getting in trouble.
I still remember the sign some kid from Miami held up at the game against Virginia Tech.
It was during college game day. Vick was injured for that 2000 game in the Orange Bowl.
Some dude behind the Gameday crew held up a sign that read: Micheal Vick is a (anatomy descriptive denoting not being a man). The camera caught it twice and then I guess the truck said something because they never showed it again and some angles were different.

You may be wrong based on baseball in the 90s. People were saying the hell with this BS. The dopers and the blood swappers and horseroid Frankenstein's. I'm DONE. I was done but there were 40 million suck suckers who were not done. They kept worshipping to the Baseball fantasy. I abandoned baseball and basketball in '99.

Clemson reportedly ditching Goodwin, their DC. Their defense has been not good under him.
They used to be able to score more. But Riley continues to be predictable. So that exposes Goodwin even more.

Still, they won a conference championship and made the CFP.

“Getting in trouble,” may be underselling it just a wee tad bit given the level of depravity of his particular brand of merry hi jinx

Sounds like Tim Banks is the top candidate.
