They could, I guess, and it’s probably far outside the actual realm of possibility but they could perhaps ring Briles up for their new OC position if Kittley leaves.
Maybe, but I doubt Briles would move for a lateral OC outside of a premier brand.
The biggest knock on KB, other than BU, is he never spent more than 1 year anywhere. Except for Arky, and they had to give him a 25% raise to keep him from leaving for Miss St.
He’ll need at least 3 years at TCU to get rid of that image if he ever wants to be a HC.

Was I supposed to type something here?

Not at all. A HC is generally bound by contract, which has strict conditions laid out for buyouts, or other things which breach said contract. Assistants are not generally bound so strictly.

Briles has been openly ecstatic about next year’s offense and doubt any of the coaches are going anywhere unless it is a HC position at a P3 school
I’m sure he is! This is likely a 6,000+ yd offense in ‘25.
The OL will be significantly better with everyone returning (so far) + Cade Bennett +
5 Sophs ready to compete + the portal next week.
It could easily be the best offense in the B12.

No way it’s a 6000 yard offense unless the running game gets a COMPLETE OVERHAUL. But that could happen also.

Our rushing game is 114 ypg at 3.7 ypc.
If we had achieved 180 ypg at 5.5 ypc; then we’re at 6,000 yds. right now.
44% of B12 teams did that, and with a significantly improved line (which is a given) & a big portal RB, there’s no reason TCU cannot achieve that. It’s not even a big ask, as it needs to happen.
There is no reason TCU cannot rush at least close to as well as BU or Cincy.
