BU V TCU Game Thread

Squeaking by Baylor at home is not an impressive way to start the Big 12 season. Recurring injuries to TCU

athletes seems to have become chronic.

Whew, got dicey at the end. Believe we had a 20 pt. lead at some point. Drew outcoached Jamie in 2nd. half and had Baylor going to the rim. With no Samuel or Alok playing deep in the paint we cannot stop the drive to the basket. Is Alok injured again? Good game by Nembhard, he needed this. Kansas is going to go after us in the paint. Noi was not aggressive at all on defense.
Outcoached? I disagree

He’s a very good player, but the team really rose to the occasion the last two years when he’s gone out and won most of the games they played without him.

We’re not going anywhere in the NCAA Tourney without him. We’ve moved beyond getting excited about winning 7-8 games in conference and making an NIT run.

Noi did not look like his normal self today.

They did no doubt. But they’re a better team with him on the floor. He’s shooting almost 45% from 3. And a career 85-90% FT shooter. Going to be some physical games that end up with free throws to win. He would've been the entry pass tonight to catch those fouls in the end. He’s a difference maker, we felt it at the end of the game with Bane fouling out.

Some of you are panicking a bit much

Baylor is a good team - not great but better than most of the teams we have played this year - and we got the W even if it was at home

Without Fish and only 1 big man - I will take that

I think Arob tried to take it on his own in the last few mins and that may be his one real flaw that hasn’t changed - but he controlled the floor that vast majority of that game

If we shoot 50% FT in the second half, the game is never even close

Focus on the first 37 minutes. We 93% blew them out. Not too bad...
