He should have been in bed, and his "friends" should have known in this cell phone camera age that he should have been in bed.
Stupid college kid mistake.

It's dumb. Probably won't hurt us more than getting stomped by Oregon though. Wish I could refund my trip. Spending 2.5k to take my family (I know, selfish to think about but I'm feeling pissed and selfish right now). Really it just dumb, dumb, dumb but reading the story I wouldn't question Boykins character. He is young and made a mistake. Just horrible timing...Double D said:Well that just F-ing sucks and ruins NYE and the weekend. I don't care about the game now. I'm more concerned about how this hurts the program. It's like we time warped back to all that drug arrest isht. Geez!

I don't think the nfl will bat an eye at this.Tumbleweed said:Probably suspended for the game and the end of his college career. Most likely the NFL won't like this either. Really thought Trevon Boykin was more mature than this. I'm utterly disappointed! Nothing good comes from bar hopping at 2: 00 AM for anybody let alone a star football player..... Dumb move.......
Who was with him? They're probably suspended too...All the hours spent game planning by Sonny and Doug and others. More I think about this the madder I get!.
But he is the one that made the mistake. So that goes with it. Several bad decisions lead down this path not one. It's not just some unfortunate coincidence.TCUSA said:Stop crying--if anybody has the right to be disappointed, it's TB. Had his chances at a national championship stolen from him after an 11-1 season and beating a team by 53 pts. Had an outstanding season and dropped from 4th in the Heisman balloting last year to 10th. Started the season ranked #2 and watched it melt away, injury by injury this season. Hell--I'm ready to kick somebody's [Rod Gilmore], too. Stop feeling sorry for yourselves and think about the disappointment TB's having to deal with. Not making excuses for him, but it pisses me off to see people moaning about how dissapointed they are when it's probably 1/1,000,000 the disappointment being felt by the kid who lost his head for a moment.
Sounds like you are making excuses for him.TCUSA said:Stop crying--if anybody has the right to be disappointed, it's TB. Not shocked. someone, and no doubt someone will, talk to him in religious terms about confronting our weaknesses and sins. Casey had to confront his stuff. Hope Tre can confront his. Pro career, etc. be damned. this is about a person and his growth. He will always be a hero for me.
