The world it’s a changing Bub. You can sit and dither or you can jump into fray. If you choose to dither, well bye and good luck with that. We don’t have to take your buns. You just go on and bite into that there apple and that will be fine. Be sure to watch us on the real TV coast to coast every Saturday all day long.

had a professor who once said that evolution is real in that the world is always changing and that if any organism was going to survive they must adapt to keep up

time for the pac schools to recognize that change comes for all of us so either adapt or die

The day Messi was introduced in Miami is arguably the biggest day in MLS history.
Apple was there to cover the event and stream it live, with NO SOUND.
Their sports production is horrible.
Exactly, they have no network to push news out,
What is SEC’s answer if FSU and Clem go BiG? Miami and NC?
Dodd already tweeting to expect ASU next.
does ASU get reduced payments? Seems like overkill of AU already comes to take ASU to.

AU works. ASU is extra baggage.
Utah pulls its weight and is a good travel partner for CO.

For OR/WA The Big 12 offers better travel costs and some regional rivalries remain intact.
If BY can pull off bringing OR and WA to the Big 12, no amount of accolades will do him justice.
Would be scheissing hilarious if BY can outsmart the B1G.

This seems like no ASU or Utah.

Not yet but I'd say there's about a 99% chance that they're coming.

Remember that Arizona has been flirting with the Big 12 for a while now. Weeks, months, not sure exactly how long but more than a couple days. ASU and Utah have been holding out hope for the PAC staying together and just very recently have come to the realization that's not happening. So they're just getting going down the procedural road of switching conferences.

And really, unless suddenly Washington and Oregon inexplicably decide they don't actually want to leave, then what choice do ASU and Utah have? Are they really going to relegate themselves to being in a conference with WSU, OrSt, Cal, Stan and a mis-mash of MWC/AAC teams making 7 million per year?

will be interesting to see how things play out as stanford has the #19 recruiting class in the country with 28 commits so far, a few are some very high profile prospects

can they hang on to all those recruits if there is the move by the 4 corners and the two big pnw schools?

According to an Arizona State board mod, Michael Crow is the sole reason ASU is not ready to move yet. The Arizona Board of Regents wants ASU to go (but won't force him), and so does the athletic department.

The alumni/fans were leaning towards staying in the PAC until some details about the Apple deal leaked, and now look like they can't leave fast enough.

Crow has been there a long time, and many people think he has done a great job leading the university, EXCEPT for the Athletic Department, which he has basically trashed.
