The play by play guy is outstanding, but his counterpart is horrible.

TCU RTVF department establishing a sports b-casting emphasis, and part of that involves opportunities to work with Chuck in baseball... ease up on the students (they're not getting paid, obvously)

My apologies.
I'm not meaning to belittle the guy and I understand the b-casting RTVF scenario.....
but man, if in fact it is a SPORTS b-casting emphasis, maybe they should find someone that knows something about ....uh...ehhh - SPORTS.

If he wants to get into sports bcasting..... he needs to know SOMETHING of what he is talking about....

Yeah, it can definitely be a little rough at times. Kind of like the DJs at ktcu, they get better with more experience.

My fiance (and her sister) were DJs at KTCU.

Yeah totally.. I had a show with her all of Spring 2009, it was really fun. I had no idea her sister was engaged. Congrats to you!

I heard that guy was briefly hired in Waco and did poorly. I have also heard his career is essentially done, largely because anyone who would consider hiring him has seen the video. Kind of sad, in a hilarious sort of way.

I got the opportunity as a non-RTVF major to take Chuck's sports broadcasting class my senior year. It allowed me the opportunity to help him call four games that year. When you've never done it, it's hard. Baseball has so much down time, you don't have a good gauge when and when not to talk.
