Okay Biden...Senior moments happen
I'm not sure it makes much sense to focus much on high school recruiting. These kids will probably play for three schools before they are done. Allocate the resources to some of the 100's of upperclassmen D-lineman that are ready to step in and play that will surely be available once the season is over, and leave the development to other schools.Did you ever notice that once fall camp starts, our FB recruiting activity literally stops. I find this interesting. This has been going on for years and you have to wonder why. Our DL recruiting leaves much to be desired.
Let's take a look at this year's DL recruiting success. Maybe look at other positions later.
Jared Martin 6'3" 210 lbs. El Centro CA Nationally ranked as # 29 "Edge" by 247.
John Schobel 6'4" 215 Lbs. Columbus TX Nationally ranked as # 54 "Edge" by 247.
Floyd Guidry 6'1" 275 Lbs. Spring TX Nationally ranked as # 83 DL by 247.
Brody Whatley 6'4" 265 lbs Spring TX Nationally ranked as # 144 DL by 247.
Blake Robinette 6'3" 265 Lbs. Ft Worth TX Nationally ranked as # 204 DL by 247.
What do you guys think about these recruits. I'm sure they will be good students and good players, but I would think after TCU's track record, we would have some Brahma Bull DTs in the mix.

Paying a high school kid to come here that isn't going to be ready for a year or two is not quite as dumb as saving a kid so he can be redshirted, but it's close.
