Cam Smith (one of two big return pieces for the Kyle Tucker trade) makes the Opening Day roster - unbelievable, since he was playing at Florida State last spring and only 32 minor league games; five games at AA. Video of him here sobbing when mom comes in to tell him. A hot 6 foot girlfriend too; a volleyballer.

Fast-rising Smith, 22, makes roster for Astros

Cam Smith, 22, has made the Opening Day roster for the Astros. Smith's debut will come after he played in just 32 games in the minors last season.

Zach Dezenzo makes the team too so it will be interesting to see where he and Cam Smith play; they both need to play for their development.

This has gotten to the point where you have to wonder if it’s some type of protest over the DH thing

Been a Red Sox fan for 50 plus years and he can say what he wants but just watching him it feels like a giant middle finger to everyone. He’s not the most popular guy to begin with and this is probably not the way to make any new friends
