Also of note.... Looks like former TCU commit D Lemear is headed to Baylor, heavy TCU lean D Alexander is headed to Minnesota (sounds like it's possible we moved on from him) and local kids are starting to buy into what SMU is selling. Recruiting is not exactly heating up.

This class has strong potential to get lapped by both Baylor and SMU and not just in numbers but in quality. Weird that we could go from one of our best quality classes in 2020 to one of our least impressive in 2021. The last 2 years appear to be finally coming back to bite us.

Anyway you spin it. TX recruits don’t have a lot of love for TCU right now. We are spending and inordinate amount of time out of state. It’s getting more and more each year.

Slightly early for this kind of hopeless despair?

Maybe we should copy what SMU did and have a portal party. Just load up on quality transfers if we can find them.

No spin but not only will there be a small number of signees but they are looking to plug particular holes in the roster many of which are not the usually high star value slots.

They have 2 QBs which are an area of huge need and generally a position that brings higher ratings. However both of the commits somewhat unknowns for various reasons and both are completely different types of players from the other. I think they are great gets for the program but we shall see. I don't expect either to get any ratings boosts as with the shutdown they will not be getting a lot of exposure from now until December.
