Well good for him. I hope he does well there. I never thought for a moment he was heading here.
I think that Dykes likes the talent he coached or played against often better than those he has not seen first hand. Still he will go after those who he does not know directly when the need arises.

The sport is irreparably broken.
There is an easy fix: 1) Pay the players 2) Dump the NIL 3) Fix the transfer rules.
But I doubt any of this will happen. Money is king.
Sure his parents are not overly pleased... but if he wants to start immediately .... then this is one of the most logical places !

the manner in which the ncaa has handle the eligibility of transfers for several years has been a joke.
this isn't because of nil and the this isn't just happening.

So coaches need to be finding a means to wade through this tidal wave and find the true nuggets.
The problem is that once these players sign with a new team then they are out of options unless they sit out a year or graduate. Many may well regret their choices and so will more than a few coaches. A mess that keeps messing with you.
