The disaffected "Portal Fans" are not going to be streaming back over a little positive recruitment. It is nice to hear positive news but it takes much more than that to "decide to return". If you are not one of them then most likely you do not understand how they see things now.
This is not intended as a "them vs us" commit either. However, it is worthwhile to acknowledge that Portal Fans visit here and watch what is presented. They often do not respond except with "likes". They seldom post. There has been little outreach to them and they do not expect any. However, many have been long time fans that feel shunned now. I suggest that you leave them alone and let them find their own new reasons to return. It will take a while.
