Last two commits are upper Midwest kids with lots of good offers. Love the national presence our program has started to build .

It really seems that we are getting our top targets, even if they aren’t highly ranked kids.

Kind of like George Ellis, not highly ranked but you could tell the staff really wanted him and I think he will be a monster the next few years.

I’ll just drop this here; no inkling that we would be in the mix but a local kid is transferring from Notre Dame. CB Nick Watkins (Bishop Dunne) announced he will transfer as a graduate transfer out of South Bend.

Watkins has experience and was a big time prospect out of Dunne.

Well ,there's some insight into Urban's recruiting sauce. I suppose it's overall good for frogs that auto-"big state u" kids are pulled as far from the area as possible.

Urban Meyer and staff are easily is the best recruiters in the country..That includes Saban. Routinely get kids out of the backyards of traditional powers to go to the [ Finebaum ] hole that is the state of Ohio....

That and they can stand on top of all their history when making their pitch. Takes better recruiters to get a kid to come to a smaller university like TCU that’s building into a national power.

In Most instances we are not recruiting in the same pool as a OSU or Bama.. Yes we get in the occasional recruiting dust up with them but rarely are we heads up. They are on 5 star kids and high 4 stars on the edge. In addition, Bama has the whole S.East as their backyard...Ohio St has to come to Texas, CA, and steal a few in Florida. So yes perhaps a TCU recruiter has to overcome more that an OSU coach but until we are legitimately recruiting the same caliber players, one will never know. We are now at least getting a “consider” from some higher ranked athletes. Our time is coming..We are recruiting better than ever

Urban probably negative recruits against us. I think we have only lost out on one recruit that we actually had a chance of getting(Browning) to the Buckeyes but then you have local guys like Okudah who never even gave us a look.
