And Eers score a 4th in the inning on a pickoff attempt at 2B where the ball gets away and the runner freaking scores easily.
Maybe Tech doesn't get in after all ..their give a boat factor seems to be gone.

I see no reason they don’t reach unless all the wheels fall off. But that pen is less than stellarMaybe Tech doesn't get in after all ..their give a boat factor seems to be gone.
Petrie isn't much of a hitter. At Washington State he had a .236 career average.I’m guessing he doesn’t play much. But by being ‘back’ it frees us up to pinch hit or play Goodloe somewhere and not be worried about unplanned emergency catcher playing late in a game.
Prior to Spenrath finally hitting like he did at Cisco, I would have argued Petrie and Byrne combine for catcher and DH somehow. Now I don’t think Petrie plays much on weekends

D1Baseball Top 25: Vols Top, Texas A&M, Wofford Enter Rankings • D1Baseball
After a wild week in the rankings last week, Texas A&M and Wofford are the lone entrants into this week's D1Baseball Top 25 rankings.d1baseball.com
We went on the road and won a series against #3 and moved up from 21 to 20? Sitting on top of the Big 12 standings but 4th among Big 12 teams in the poll is certainly a take.
Plenty of time left. This is a particular week of big opportunity with DBU and the trip to Tallahassee.
Need to go 2-2 this week. 3-1 or better would be remarkable.
Agree. And that scenario keeps us even on the Q1 ratio for the time being.Generally agree. Not sure about “need” except to the extent it’s always good to keep winning and this team can win its way into hosting. Mostly want to see a W at home Tuesday for RPI reasons. 1-2 is good enough in Tallahassee then anything more is gravy.
Seriously what are these baseball rankings even based on?NO WAY Tech should be ahead of us. That is some silliness there.

I’d feel happy with 13ish. The early resume wasnt impressive but the recent isRankings are all over the place. Baseball America has us #7, which honestly makes as much sense as #20.
Isn't that better than all of our bench?Petrie isn't much of a hitter. At Washington State he had a .236 career average.
Getting flashbacks of that Coastal Carolina pitcher.Well this weekend could be very interesting. It was about this time last year when the Frogs learned they were virtually helpless against lefties with quality off speed stuff. We’ll now see if the Frogs have improved in that aspect because gonna see two such starters and at least one from the pen this weekend.
Didn’t do much against DBU’s Sherlin in four combined innings and he’s nowhere near the caliber we’ll see on Friday and Saturday.
