Spittin seeds—I never had the patience to deseed a sunflower shell, so I chew and swallow all—good fiber, besides, my mother abhors spitten. The same goes for watermelon when they had seeds, unless I was outdoors, then I might spit a few. Grandpa would tell us kids a seed might root and grow a melon in our belly.
