Not specific to the CWS, but is baseball related. Is there any truth that our lead recruiter for baseball is being courted by Stanford (sorry I don't know who our lead recruiter is)? heard this from someone who would likely have insight.

I have heard the same rumor. No clue if true. The Michigan head coach turned down the Stanford job today, so the cardinal is presumably on to their next candidates. Would suck to lose him but TCU can be somewhat competitive monetarily with him as an assistant vs a head coach offer (remember, he had big league money so coaching salary may be supplemental, Stanford has more mouths to feed as they sponsor more sports with less conference money - that said Stanford is a head coaching opportunity, has more financial flexibility for recruiting than TCU thanks to its endowment and is close to his west coast home) or with any pitching coach Schloss wants should a successor be needed. Bottom line is a TCU assistant job is among the best jobs in college baseball and is among the most willing to put resources (read: $) into assistants. Schloss is a machine but has done a 4-peat with the same staff. Promotions for assistants are inevitable, and it's amazing we've had the same core for 5 years.

2018 question:
Anyone heard how Dion Henderson is progressing? Freshman LHP that we must've redshirted. Drafted in the 25thish round out of hs last year. I'm hoping he is a Janczak-like prospect that needed a year and can push for the rotation next. Obviously we assume Janczak is our ace and hope Lodolo takes the next step. After that though, big ? on Sunday and midweek starters.
