Nepotism R Us!

Was I supposed to type something here?
Hey, kids! Got a coach for a dad? One who has coached with Sonny? Well, step on up! You'll have a starting job in no time! Doesn't matter how good you may be, it's the Old Pal factor that counts.

There's a radical re-assessment of what this team is capable of. Evidence shows it ain't much. All other programs in our position have taken care of business, yet we get pantsed by a sideshow barker and his whelp.

This is utterly unacceptable. We, allegedly, have a number of excellent athletes on this team. Why is it that they cannot seem to be able to get out of their own way? That was a grotesque, embarrassing choke to a team that shouldn't have been able to carry our garbage out to the curb. Yet, here we are. We're here because we have a coach who values things other than ability and achievement as criteria for employment. Does anybody think that the kid we saw out there today "beat out" Max as a starter? Does our staff have the ability to see strange wavelengths of light which allows them to see things we cannot see?

Heads should roll.

We are TWO games removed from the greatest moment in TCU football history in 80+ years.

I don't think you're right. I think Colorado is really good. Travis Hunter may win the Thorpe Award and the Biletnikoff Award in the same season.
Colorado won’t even be in the top 5 of the PAC. Many of there big passes were when our secondary was lost and way out of position. Our kids were not coached well. And the D scheme is bad. Offensive coordinators love it these days.

Bad coaching. They were an undisciplined mess today.

They won 1 game last year. And have 87 new players.
And this team is completely different and much better than last year’s Colorado. People that keep bringing this up aren’t considering this is an entirely different team. Their record last year is entirely irrelevant.

To Deion’s credit, he was able to do what people doubted him on and created a confident/cohesive offense entirely out of the transfer portal. Very few coaches can pull that off, I believe.

It’s completely relevant. Everyone knows this is a different team. That’s the point.

Colorado has Oregon and USC back to back in 3 weeks. Both high powered offenses. We will see how good they are during those 2 weeks
People are gonna get carried away here over the next week. They already are. Deion might be the second coming of Nick Saban but there are a hell of a lot of peaks and valleys in a football season. Now they have to handle a little success. At some point they’ll have to deal with getting their asses handed to them. Injuries, egos, etc etc etc.

True. It’s a week by week grind.
