Might be the first time that only two teams had all of the awardees.

Seems like Fontanelle had a pretty good case (over Morgan) and Bowen might have had a case as well. The final series BP definitely affected the perception and the stats.

After beginning the season as the preseason top team in the land, LSU finished the year back atop the final D1Baseball Top 25 Rankings.

Appears odd that Stanford climbs from #6 to #4 in the final ranking. Stanford advanced to the CWS when Texas lost a pop fly in the lights in game 3 of the super regional. They then went 0-2 in the CWS, losing to Wake Forest and then to Tennessee. Tennessee lands at #7 in the final ranking. Frogs at #5 behind Stanford but won two CWS games and whooped Arkansas in the super regional in Arkansas. So what did Stanford do to climb from 6 to 4, sheesh.

I don‘t care, but just seems to stand out like a sore thumb.
