Who actually signed off on the Sisters of the Poor on the TCU football schedule?

This is unfortunately the current landscape of College Football. Most, if not all Major 4 Conference teams are doing this , some more than 1 game(SEC). I dislike it for TCU, but it's here to stay I'm afraid.

Nothing wrong with getting an extra bye when you're about to have a run of very important games and need to get more experience for 2nd string, especially guys like Wright, McAllister, and Earle. Complaining about something we've done just about every year makes you lose all credibility regarding your outrage.

TCU is doing it right--if you're going to schedule an FCS school (and most teams do), schedule the absolute worst one you can find. Never understood why teams schedule NDSU and the other traditional FCS contenders.

Also, for all of the talk about TV money dictating the landscape of college football, why is a team like Ohio State not playing a meaningful game for a month? Seems like if you wanted to create better TV matchups for ratings, getting rid of the bodybag games would be the first step.

It was basically the only one they could find after MissSt backed out.

I could probably just google this but I’ll ask
y’all instead. What happens when you back out last minute like Miss St? Do they get fined? So now TCU goes from having an SEC team at home at night as the season opener $$$ to now paying LIU to come play in The Carter? That’s crap.

No one should want any part of those Dakota schools.... No clue what they are doing up there but those dudes are tough!

I don't mind these games, since there are no preseason games or scrimmages(yet) in college football. Honestly the NCAA should have a Week 0 where each team gets to play these layup games to start the season.
