Who actually signed off on the Sisters of the Poor on the TCU football schedule?

I don't mind these games, since there are no preseason games or scrimmages(yet) in college football. Honestly the NCAA should have a Week 0 where each team gets to play these layup games to start the season.

Is it too much to ask that Week 1 be Layup Week and Week 14 be Rivalry Week?

I'm aware that non-conference games are scheduled in advance, witness this list, sometimes many years in the future....But looking at the games listed here makes me think that some one, some where, some time ago, waved a white flag in regards to playing marquee games....

Remember too, most of these games were scheduled when UT and OU were on our schedule every year for the foreseeable future. Also, with a 12-team playoff versus a 4-team non-conference scheduling might look different.

Nothing wrong with getting an extra bye when you're about to have a run of very important games and need to get more experience for 2nd string, especially guys like Wright, McAllister, and Earle. Complaining about something we've done just about every year makes you lose all credibility regarding your outrage.

Yes GP had a strategy of playing bottom tier teams in other conferences…Purdue…Virginia…Stanford…Minnesota..Arkansas..Duke…UNC was terrible when we signed them

GP cried and cancelled the 2nd matchup against ohio state…supposed to be a home and home…same with LSU
