Interesting to note that Easter, Ramadan, and Passover all fall at the same time this year. in Jerusalem all of the factions are celebrating by throwing rocks at each other......

There are more recorded historical accounts of the life of Jesus, his death, and most importantly, his resurrection, than almost all other historical events that we hold as true and do not question.

If Jesus, who claimed to be the Son of God and Savior of the world, really did resurrect from the dead, it's probably of eternal importance to pay attention to.
What about the other stuff in the bible? What you your thoughts on Dinosaurs, the age of the Earth and Noah's Flood?

So far as we know, there are no dinosaurs in the Bible -- but there are many animals not in the Bible. The Book isn't a zoological catalog of the Earth's fauna.

The Bible doesn't address the age of the Earth.

Noah's flood? What about it?

I think he is going for the Noah's Flood narrative (which is a valid one, IMO - great book - basically says the Flood was an isolated incident and not a global one aka. the "world" known at the time). But, as my pops would say, the semantics do not matter. What does: Do you accept or deny the deity of Christ?

Goes back to @SuperTFrog - liar, lunatic or Son of God. Place the bet.

Those first two choices are a suckers bet. If those who take the third choice are wrong and there is no afterlife or judgement, they have lost absolutely nothing. They won't even be conscious of it because -- there's just nothing.

If those who take either of the first two choices are wrong and there actually is an afterlife with judgement and eternal consequences, they have lost everything.

The Bible is a fantastic story and in so many ways an unbelievable tale beyond the imagination of history’s greatest storytellers.
Yet the truth of it is not dependent on whether we believe it or not. The ability to believe is the gift of God through the convicting work of the Holy Spirit when an individual hears the story of God’s redemptive plan. That said
“He is risen, indeed!” Will you believe?

Which has always made me wonder about the difference between an atheist and an agnostic. When proof comes to an agnostic, it is probably too late, but isn't it the same for the atheist? Or will a true atheist still not believe when the proof is presented?

Pascal’s wager. The problem with this line of thinking is it presents a binary choice. Belief or non-belief.

The issue is, there are potentially thousands of religions to pick from, and most of them are mutually exclusive. I can’t both accept Jesus as my lord and savior AND view the prophet Mohammad as the final, ultimate prophet, superior to Jesus. You could choose to be the perfect Christian, and then make it to the afterlife and be sentenced to hell because you never followed the teachings of Joseph Smith or Zeus.

The question of which religion to follow has to be factored into the equation, and it makes your chances of making the correct decision much slimmer.
