The game that got me hooked on TCU football

Jamie Dixon's buzzer beater got me hooked on TCU, and TCU football. No actual game, I was busy chunking one of those white, rubber, TCU footballs under the bleachers.
 
1992: UT at TCU. First game I ever paid for as an alumnus. I had just started my first real job. Beautiful fall day. Tony Rand. Arrogant UT fans in the upper deck. Safety at the end of the first half. First win against UT since before I was born. Lobster dinner afterward.

I've been buying season tickets ever since.
 
1994, in general, hooked me on TCU sports. My sophomore year, the win over Tech to clinch a asterisk-marked share of the SWC football title, the baseball team sweeping Texas at the old TCU Field with the sloping concrete wall in center field and winning the conference title outright, and the first year of Billy Ball. Things went a little downhill from there, particularly in football, but then there was the orgasmic moment of the Sun Bowl ...
