Yep, and have done it recently through three coaches - Craig Bohl, Chris Klieman, and now Matt Entz.

Former NDSU coaches include Ron Erhardt (Patriots in early 80s) and Jim Wacker. Also Stan Kostka, whose family I know well.

georgia southern is most likely the best comparison and they have had some success in the sun belt, but they never will play at a national title with the big boys of the p 5
