MORGANTOWN — TCU will bring pressure from its secondary, but its defensive line doesn’t seem to rely much on trickery.
 
“They’re power, not speed rushers,” West Virginia guard Quinton Spain said. “They’re mostly a bull rush team so we’ve just got to have our pads lower than theirs.”
 
Controlling the line of scrimmage won’t be easy for the Mountaineers but it will be critical in Saturday’s WVU-TCU Big 12 matchup.
 
TCU is on pace to become the first Big 12 team since Nebraska in 1996 to lead the conference in both sacks and interceptions. The Horned Frogs have a Big 12-leading 24 sacks and 15 picks and they’ve done this without the services of last year’s Big 12 defensive player of the year, end Devonte Fields. Fields missed the beginning of the year while suspended by coach Gary Patterson and then was ruled out for the rest of the season because of a foot injury. ...
