The Cowboys hope an early start will cap off America’s Greatest Homecoming as Oklahoma State hosts the Texas Christian Horned Frogs 11 a.m. Saturday.
 
No. 21 OSU (4-1, 1-1) would like nothing more than to get its offense going again. The Cowboys have struggled uncharacteristically in moving the ball. OSU ranks 23rd in passing offense and 87th in rushing offense in the nation. A high tempo offense was thought to be OSU’s strength coming into the season, but results have been mixed.
 
“We’re working hard on it, and our guys know it’s part of our identity, so we don’t want to lose that,” offensive coordinator Mike Yurcich said. “We want to continue to progress and be fast on offense.”
 
TCU (3-3, 1-2) relies on its defense for success. The Horned Frogs are the most physical defense J.W. Walsh and the offense has faced this season. Coach Gary Patterson has assembled playmakers at every position in a scheme designed to give opposing offenses fits. ...
