There was another game that year where the audio kept cutting out and the video board was having issues. I think they eventually just hooked a microphone up to a Sony boom box for the PA announcer to use.

I think it was the Baylor game, and the rain just played hell with the equipment. You can see it in a few clips of that video (2:45) them getting ready in the rainstorm.

Actually this Riff Ram version when played in some doses can pump you up I think. It can get annoying if played too much.
