Secretariat - a VIRGINIA HORSE!

His owner, the real Penny Chenery was not anywhere near as HOT as Diane Lane. (But she was quite an accomplished woman for her...Columbia Law in the '40s!)

Pretty amazing his Kentucky Derby time and Belmont time are still track records after all this time.Would still have the Preakness record if the official timer hadn't malfunctioned.

:biggrin: Well I mispelled anybody in the heading and I don't know how to edit the heading. :unsure: I think I got the rest of it correct? Big Red really is the best horse that ever raced. I was in the infield at the kentucky Derby that year. I bought a $2 ticket on Big Red and got $3 back when he won. I should have saved the ticket for several reasons. :wink:
