TCU CB Jaionte McMillan enters transfer portal​

TCU lost a defensive back and key special teams contributor to the transfer portal on Tuesday, with cornerback Jaionte McMillan revealing his decision to leave the program in a social media post. McMillan spent four seasons with the Horned Frogs, appearing in 14 games during the 2022 season and tying for the team lead with six special teams tackles. McMillan appeared in all 12 games for the Horned Frogs in 2023, compiling four total tackles along with one sack and one pass breakup. McMillan concludes his time at TCU with 32 appearances, 13 total tackles and one interception over four seasons of play.

Doesn't seem like too big of a disaster (so far at least). It's a bummer that some young names people were excited about are on there, in Bax and Fontenette, but this list doesn't seem irreplaceable in terms of on-field contributions to this date. I wouldn't have been surprised by a far worse exodus after tanking as hard as we did from a 13-2 season to 5-7.
