According to that link he's going to SMU ,right?

He originally committed to SMU but did not qualify. He went to Kilgore JC and today at the Garden Valley Country Club in beautiful Lindale, Texas his coach, J.J. Eckert revealed he committed to the TCU Horned Frogs.

Whoa, that is a pretty good review on Ricky by June. Boy can fly apparently.

He likely must graduate from Kilgore JC before he can be eligible.

Nice going Anderson.

He was lightly recruited out of highschool because he was a academic risk. The coaches scouted him and liked him in 2010, but decided they liked Chris Hawkins & Curtis Carter better. It might have been a "sign and place" deal for SMU but whatever, he's a frog now. Welcome Ricky!

He committed to SMU early, June 2009. Later in the year, he received a lot of interest from the Horned Frogs while having a great senior year and visited TCU to watch the 2009 Utah game.

Congrats Ricky, welcome to Fort Worth and the Casey Pachall era.

Go Frogs!

I should have said he signed with SMU, basically he committed early, but still signed with the ponies.

Have been corrected by PM saying Ricky will be here in January. But how could that be? Rule has always been, you must graduate from a JC to become eligible. That is unless you have passed the SAT or ACT prior.

He's a December graduate, not uncommon at the JUCO level.

I believe that with summer school, it's possible and not uncommon to graduate JUCO in 1.5 years.
