Commits to Tech but is a kid you have to root for no matter what school he attends. He had a good visit to TCU but not sure what the attraction to Tech was.

Good pick up for Tubbs even though he hates Lubbock :rolleyes:

Apparently Davis mentor is connected to Tech in some way. Take that for what its worth.
Regardless, Feisty is right you have to cheer for this kid with all that he has been through.

Right now we need offensive linemen. We got 2 DL's, a corner, a safety, 2 QB's, one RB, one WR...

Think we got a list of 10 or 12 offensive linemen.

And some the secret salesmen haven't told us about. There's a legacy OL named Schomp in East Texas, who is a real good one, but not sure if we are after him or not....Hardest position to evaluate, without a doubt.. But we've got it figured out, it appears.. Waiting on some decisions????

He said according to Rivals, that Tech will use him at WR and some Wildcat QB, and he felt most comfortable in that role.

It appears that Wheeler is the same way, at least according to his highlight tape. Maybe we offered both, and first one to bite gets the spot?
