Projections

Looking at the bowl projections, it seems like it will be a very good bowl year if the Frogs win out, even if TCU gets hosed in the BCS voting.

I can't see Boise losing, and I think the voters will work hard to make it a Boise vs. AQ NCG instead of Boise vs. TCU. With the closed voting in the final coaches' poll, I'm guessing that several will drop TCU way down in order to avoid the BSU-TCU matchup.

But 12-0 TCU will be highly valued by the other bowls, despite not being an automatic pick, and either Schlabach's pick (Rose Bowl vs. Michigan State) or Adelson's (Sugar Bowl vs. Alabama) would both be awesome. It has been said that the Rose Bowl is off-the-hook for picking a non-AQ if one makes the NCG game vs. Oregon, but I wouldn't be surprised if they "take their medicine" this year with 12-0 TCU vs. 11-1 Iowa or Ohio St. if Oregon wins out.

There's a part of me that would rather see the Frogs in Pasadena than vs. Boise again, even if it were for all the marbles. Only part of me, though.
