Saw Poor Things, weird movie about woman that tried to commit suicide, reborn by mad scientist that gave her unborn daughter‘s brain. Follows her growing into it. Would have been much more palatable with Jennifer Lawrence than Emma Stone with all the nudity…

It was strange, but I wouldn’t say abomination. I’ve seen better, I’ve seen much worse. Kind of Scissorhands meets Frankenstein.

Saw "The Boys in the Boat".
Even though you go in knowing how it will end, it was enjoyable.

Don't know why but I'm looking forward to "Argyle". Have seen the preview twice and it just looks fun and different.

Based on the trailer, i think I would hate it. I think Willem Defoe will look at this film as his new low point (previously Speed 2: Cruise Control).

He was actually good. All the acting was. The story and settings were weird. Had a hunger games vibe with sets and clothes. Mark Ruffalo was good, funny. Just a strange movie. But not unwatchable like Mother. I wouldn’t go by the trailer. I saw a very different movie than what the trailers depicted, to me…

I didn't watch the show, but apparently Giamatti won a Golden Globe for best male actor for his role in The Holdovers. Well done. Additionally, apparently Poor Things did quite well in the award categories.
