Be careful what you wish for... excusing debt and making college free will hurt TCU.

Right now donations help out for construction projects and things that elevate TCU to higher level nationally in academic prominence.

Take out tuition, and any money that comes in will be just to keep things afloat.

Cutting faculty and staff will result in larger class sizes and less individualized attention.

I’d be all for a cap of tuition/fees (hint fees are what is really the driving force in cost) but shouldn’t be wiped out.
