What in the world has happened to OSU? South Alabama?? A lot of players left in the portal, the recruiting was so so and the result is going to be several years of downward spiral? Why did Spencer Sanders leave? Too many questions and Gundy won't answer any of them. Can they beat Iowa State, eveyone else will
Baylor - looks like they can handle the best that Long Island has to offer. actually, I hate to say it but I am rooting for BU to win this week ( only this week)
Tech - lost to Wyoming?? played well against oregon - time will tell, pre season darlings. qb is not really good
Kansas - this week will tell for sure, but they look pretty good, qb is really good
Iowa State - remember when Campbell was the coach everyone wanted?

It was supposed to stop with OSU but I sometimes forget and keep going...................

they are as bad at quarterback as they have in a very long time

last saturday they played two time transfer alan bowman who started at tech, was a back up at michigan for a couple of years and so far this year is 30 of 52 for 235 yards and 1 int, garret rangel who is a red-shirt freshman who is 17 of 29 for 172 yards and 2 tds, and then finally gundy's son gunnar who is a red-shirt soph who is 21 of 34 for 202 yards and 1 td.

Their QBs are awful, but they have no weapons on the perimeter. It’s hard to find find a playmaker when last year’s top WR is in FW & their best RB Is now in Waco. It doesn’t help either when the coach’s son is just another mediocre dude.

I am betting that Gundy needs to amp up the NIL bank account, throw it at some transfers & bring in some fresh assistants to rev up the recruiting & the energy……..but didn’t we say that to CGP at the end, too? Coach Mullett is more hard-headed than he was so it could be a rough ride until the end.

Gundy getting canned before year end baring some kind of magical turnaround. They’ve currently already [ Finebaum ] the bed. Only question is if they’ll wake up or roll around in it all night long. I’m guessing they’re gonna get it in the ears and everything before this “night” is over…

‘24? I was halfway thinking Gundy wouldn’t survive the weekend.
I was watching a stream of the OSU loss in Houston’s stadium during halftime. They looked terrible!
Yeah, they're a mess. I'm just assuming that it will take a while to get him out of there. There were plenty of us (*cough* me *cough*) who concluded right out of the gate in 2019 that Gary was out of juice and needed to either overhaul his entire staff or retire, and that he was never going to do the former. Gundy is unconventional enough of a character that I could just about imagine him announcing in a presser that he's no longer getting it done and is stepping down, no fuss. But he's a football coach; odds are that he'll dig in and pull all of the same "I've won X,Y, and Z for N years; I don't need anyone telling me how to fix this program" crap that GP pulled for four years here. I think OSU will stink this year (I thought that coming out of last season with all the outgoing transfers they had--I never thought they would have a pulse this year). I just think he's got enough capital built up there that he'll dig in and make promises for 2024. Then he'll bomb again and be out.

[Edit: Andy Staples got a question from an Oklahoma State fan that sounds like they're exactly where we were circa 2019. Staples' response is basically: yep, you guys are stuck in a huge contract with a guy who isn't what you need in what college football is now. Question is at roughly the 48 minute mark.]

Unfortunate that TCU doesn't get to play OSU this season in what appears to be a most-likely win....Might have been an insurance game toward a bowl appearance....After all, Brigham Young, Kansas State, Texas Tech, Texas, and Oklahoma fans all summer long have guaranteed that they each will win the conference....
