We’re wondering if God has called a ‘personal foul’ on Gordon Gee.

Not only has the Ohio State President angered TCU and Boise State football fans but he has insulted the actual organization, Little Sisters of the Poor.

Gee's comments while made in jest point out a complete lack of sensitivity towards this fine catholic organization which cares for so many the world over.

“Making the elderly happy, that is what counts.” These simple words of our foundress, Saint Jeanne Jugan, are the guiding words for the Little Sisters of the Poor and our staff. Whatever the changes in our society, whatever the circumstances, the greatest need of the elderly is to be loved and needed.

Just what was Mr. Gee thinking? It’s obvious he wasn’t thinking at all. Gee should apologize now for his 'uneducated and incentive' comments and making fun of, Little Sisters of the Poor. God is watching the ohio state university and mr gee for the correct call.

What?! Gee wasn't making fun of Little Sisters of the Poor - he was belittling TCU and Boise State's schedule. He was implying that the standard of TCU and Boise State's opposition (in an obvious gross exaggeration) were the caliber of the Little Sisters of the Poor.
What would happen if the Little Sisters of the Poor actually suited up and played TCU? They would get dominated, obviously. That was the point that Gee was trying to make - that TCU and Boise don't get challenged during the season.

If he insulted their contribution to the community, that would be another thing, but he was comparing the WAC and MWC bottom feeders' football ability to the football ability of Little Sisters at the Poor - that's all.

So criticize him for being uniformed and arrogant when it comes to college football. Criticize him for his lack of respect towards TCU and Boise State. But don't try to make an issue out of something that isn't there.

These nuns should put up, or shut up. Lets replace Baylor on the schedule with a real team, these nuns look tough. Lets do it at Jerry's world on Friday night so that the world can see that our team can kick some nun tail.
