Pundit Gary Parrish has Horned Frogs #10. It might be best to view this with cautious optimism and lower expectations, and then be pleased as punch if this comes to fruition. This high ranking is a bit ironic considering TCU struggled to get any votes in the AP poll throughout the season and then being an afterthought in pundits’ minds entering the tournament. Too lowly regarded then and now maybe too highly. Maybe enter the season knowing TCU has a competitive and fun team in the grueling Big 12 and let that be enough. I don’t want to see fans disappointed and tearing into Coach and team if not top 10, or a ranking floor lower than that.
