OU then ran all over us.

better backs and a much better passing game slightly opened things up for the ou running game. if tcu played the run they got killed in the pass. play the pass and anderson killed the frogs.

kstate was a one dimensional offense with a basic passing game.

247 Released their CFB best units list and says K-State has the best offensive line in the nation...

We held them to 70 yards rushing and 216 yards of total offense last year..I do believe they were breaking in a young QB in that game but still..As I recall we owned the line of scrimmage last year against that o-line..Let’s hope for a repeat.

Saw that list, nothing TCU. D-line, LB, RB, Turpin/kick/punt return? Not even a mention.

Against top grade talent/coaching, our front 6 looked terrible against OU twice. You would have thought GP could make the corrections for the Big 12 Championship game and he probably did, but just too much talent in the offensive line and RB at OU. We will see this same type of talent or better with Ohio St. and will know quickly (by halftime) if we can run with the big dogs this year.

The problem with OU's offense was a QB who wouldn't go down and threw impossible completions after escaping busted plays a dozen times a game. It was like Steph Curry launching 3s from the Golden Gate Bridge; they should be a low % play, but they went for huge yards half the time.

Yep, a once in a generation QB for sure.

How many times has that happened to a GP defense in the 17 years he’s been at TCU?....Probably less than 10 in 17 years...They had our number last year..To use that as proof we weren’t very good up front is just ridiculous. What Lincoln coaches better than any other coach is how to disguise run/pass at the snap...At the end of the day we were one of the best teams in the country against the run and discounting that because we lost to a team that was 5 min from playing for a National title is crazy...we got out schemed and lost confidence in ourself..We were still good and we’ll be even better this year

If that. Ignoring our terrible 2004 team where I'm not even sure we had 11 guys out there, I can think of 2006 BYU, 2006 Utah, 2007 Texas, 2008 OU, 2011 Baylor, 2016 OU, 2017 OU x2, maybe throw 2014 Baylor in there as well, but that's pretty much it.

LifeYo, don't take this out of context. I said OU, no other school on the '17 schedule was mentioned. It was, and did happen. Was the first game a fluke and if so, what about the 2nd. game? Our front 6 is good. Great? Like I said, we will know at halftime vs OSU.

That QB will not be as good as Baker Mayfield.
