Please be advised that saying "because they are the Lakers and they need the game" won't wash in this courtroom for the simple fact they needed the game Wednesday and got beat by double digits at home.

Give me Mavs in 6. Lakers win 94-88 tonight after dominating the second half of a cold shootign performance by the Mavs.

Then I guess if this is true then Mavs take games 4 and 6. Makes sense. But I don't see tired and non-hungry Lakers winning tonight.

Actually it's because the Mavs are still the Mavs.

Good call and excellent analysis. Without artest a starter, Odom fills in for the 5th starter. Now the lakers bench, which is already terrible becomes the worst in the NBA.
