Let's not forget Morris...

He should have had 4 interceptions and missed 10 WIDE OPEN receivers!!!

Even Max wasn't that bad!!

If anybody had the deer in the headlights look it was TCU's QB!!!!!

It’s only his 3rd start and only 2nd where he actually gets to review and be coached up for game performance.
Exactly - he’s where Max was as a sophomore having the opportunity to practice and be in the room and learn from a senior QB. He’s going to make mistakes - but he made some good throws and made some good things happen. Don’t know if he can hit the deep ball but bet he improves a lot faster than most QB’s. He has a quick release and will get better when the game slows down more for him.

I thought a number of his down field throws were accurate… just so late that they had no chance. In the fourth quarter he missed a ton of open guys down field because he just didn’t see it. Having said that, he also stayed composed and got to his dump offs and kept the chains moving.

Sonny is great at breaking down film and finding mismatches, but he needs film to do it. He’ll also need an OC that can take advantage.

It’s all to be continued…

It it wasn’t that our coach and his dad are friends he wouldn’t be starting! I’m afraid we’re stuck with him but hopefully they’ll see what Josh Hoover can do to calm our fears

Then why is he our starter?

He is in his 4th year on a college campus playing football and this was his 10th game appearance…

Pre-COVID he would at least be a RS Junior and potentially a senior at this point

So how long are we going to wait and see?

Think about Dalton and Max when they only had a few college games under their belts.

Get the defense straightened the freak out. It is bad.
Again - 42 pts loses to more than half the top 25 this week…

Our D is terrible but it takes more than a good set of RB to win now

And the portal makes Daltons experience irrelevant - there will never be a time where the key position guys are able to learn on the job again in any college sport

This he needs film and had none is such BS

Who exactly had film on a Briles offense run by Morris to give Colorado?

So we are only going to not suck in games where we play a team with the same OC and QB as last year? Because most of those don’t exist anymore…

There is a ton of film on the OC from previous teams and even more on Sanders kid as QB - doing exactly what he did last weekend

And before you say that was against HSBC comp - those guys defended him 10x better than we did…
