I'm with whoever said the AQ status, it seems like that's a pretty obvious reason for him, especially before the NC game.

If it was AQ status then why would he say that it's a "funny" story? That's not funny.

Maybe Oregon sold him on the chance to play in the Rose Bowl if Oregon doesn't make the MNC game, something he OBVIOUSLY would never do at TCU.

It's funny if he went to Oregon b/c he didn't think TCU had a legit shot to win the NCG and with TCU 12-0 and on the outside looking in on his Oregon team, some may see the humor in that.

James had a bit of bad press this year which I'm glad we didn't have to put up with plus as has already been listed, how can you beat 13-0. I think we are okay where we are.
