Its time for some Spring Football talk!!!!

Seems like we’re hearing more and more about Denman. Me likely. Same with Ed Small and Dozie. I think those three will have big impacts as freshman. Me not likey the struggles the offense is having in the redzone this spring. But alternatively could mean the defense has taken another big step.
 

Go read about Ivy League football in the late 1890’s to 1910.

Throwing the running back over the line of scrimmage was so common that the runners actually had “handles” on their pants to facilitate this.

The flying RB lead to a lot of injuries to both the defenders and the RB.

And when I say injuries I am talking broken necks and death.

That last Fall before TR brought in the forward pass, I think over 10 boys died playing college football
