Our home was inside Hell's Gate and it burned to the ground. I also have a Ranch that was 80% burned. Yes, it will take years to look like it did. Many have lost everything.

50 percent contained

166 homes and two churches burned

Lowered total acreage of the complex to about 128,000.

Residents are being allowed back on the east and north sides. South side subdivisions (Gaines Bend, Sportsman's World) were still closed officially following the one-day re-entry permitted Friday.

Perhaps after all this rain that will change first part of this week.
