It is downright coaching malpractice the way we are using Jalen Reagor

Kelly/Fitch have recruited this year, Gray and Medford, and Nowell (Sonny) so we won't know about them for a year or two, that's if they sign.

Anderson recruited Barkley and Sonny, Conwright. They really haven't appeared.

Hunt, Sonny/Anderson.

Taye, Gonzales/Luper

Stephens, Burns/Anderson

Stephens and Hunt are not producing (Hunt 1 circus catch). It's hard to pinpoint the success rate for who recruits the best receiver as Barkley and Conwright are missing in action and Taye is really the only current producer.

It's been mentioned previously on this site that when it's all said and done, it's the HANDS, not so much the size or speed. So, if you looked for hands first and attitude second, you would have a good start as Doctson comes to mind. You can have track speed and run great routes but if you don't have the hands you need to get on GP's side of the field.

Reagor targeted 9 times vs OU, 1 completion and 2 drops.

Pretty sure I figured out Cumbie’s RB strategy. He starts out the game by rotating them. Each guy gets a few drives to really heat up. Once he figures out the guy that is percolating the heat...He makes sure to play the other guy for the rest of the day..

It’s not just hands. It’s showing some polish as a receiver. So many of our guys don’t look like receivers when they are out there, they just kind of run around looking lost. The ball comes their way and the timing always looks jacked up, they don’t know how to use their body, they struggle tracking the ball, attacking the ball, etc etc. Stephens, Hunt, and D Davis especially for this mold. Great athletes who seem to be playing WR by default, not because they are skilled at the position.
