Texas safety Brandon Jones expects to play at TCU

AUSTIN – Texas senior safety Brandon Jones said he’s feeling “good” after suffering a mild stinger in Saturday’s 50-48 win over Kansas and expects to play this week at TCU.
“Feel good,” Jones said Tuesday. “I’m limited this week during practice but should be ready to go Saturday.”
Texas has been playing without defensive backs Caden Sterns, Chris Brown, Jalen Green and Josh Thompson, and couldn’t afford to lose Jones for any extended time, especially considering how much the defense has struggled.
