Anyone have recommendations on where to stay? Thanks!
Lot of hotels are over $500/night without employer / discount codes

What nights are you looking to stay?

2 camps - stay close to stadium or close to downtown phoenix / Tempe if you want to go out.

Third option is spa or resort that’s further away if you want to rent car and find parking. 1st two are ok with uber

Thank you! Looking at the staying 29-1. Im leaning towards wanting to be near nightlife. Is pheonix a better area than scottsdale or glendale for restaurants/ bars?

Assuming you're departing on NYD / Jan 1, here's the public marriott prices

Scottsdale
  1. Courtyard Scottsdale Old Town = $323/nt with taxes
  2. Element Scottsdale at SkySong = $185/nt with taxes

Tempe
  1. AC Hotel Phoenix / Tempe Downtown = $248/nt with taxes
  2. Moxy Phoenix Tempe/ASU Area = $160/nt with taxes
  3. Westin Tempe = $315/nt with taxes

Will update in a few and re-rank based on nightlife

I travel there often-2 recommendations both roughly $225-$250 per night and both not too far from Airport.

1. Hyatt Regency Downtown
2. Tempe Mission Palms

Scottsdale - old downtown has a ton of bars and nightlife and Scottsdale is just so much nicer than Phoenix and Tempe
Scottsdale is nice and fun for sure.

Phoenix just reminds me of a larger version of Midland for anyone that knows of Midland.

Northern Phoenix is kinda nice and has some nice hotels but you’re not really around any type of grand nightlife if I remember correctly, for those wanting that.
