If one of the current 312 QBs in camp can prove he can protect the ball, then we will be in the CFP.

So we are just a ball protecting QB from a playoff appearance?...Now that’s optimistic. I’d love for you to be right
Protect the ball, play defense, good special teams. Sounds like Alabama. We got good skill players and an experienced offensive line. And that defense. That'll win you a lot of Big12 games. Just need a QB (2 would be better) who won't fumble while running for a first down with a lead in the third quarter against UT because somebody slapped the ball out of his hand (yes slapped) that finally convinced our defense that resistance was futile because that POS would just turn it over again as soon as he got back on the field after he laughed about it on the sideline and then transfer when his position wasn't guaranteed and then accuse our 19 year hall of effing fame coach of being too tough (it's football dumass). Not that guy. Just a guy who can hand the ball off, run a little option, complete open passes and move around in the pocket a little. That's all. Somebody, anybody. Please.

The
Our best case scenario is far better than 9 wins. What a friggin' joke of an article.
Agreed. You can tell in the first sentence of the "Best-Case Scenario" shows that Pete doesn't know what he is talking about... "The Horned Frogs open the season with a road win against Arkansas-Pine Bluff..." and it doesn't get much better from there. "A 2-1 stretch over the month [playing Iowa State, KState and UT] would be a TCU fan’s dream." I'm a TCU fan and losing to any of those three would not be a dream situation. A dream situation is 13-0 entering the playoffs.
On the years that we have 5 conference road games with both the Oklahoma teams, 8-1 in conference would be a great year and 7-2 might still get us in the Big 12 Championship game, but 6-3 in conference should never be a best case for TCU.
