Has SMU Ever Been Under Investigation?

I know all about the death penalty and stuff, but wasn't smu recently banned from post season play in basketball (under Larry Brown)? Don't judge me, but I was lurking on pf.com and ran upon this article they are apparently very proud of. Weird bunch for sure.

Investigation by the NCAA - yes, more than once

Investigation by the FBI - not sure I am aware of any college athletics program ever being investigated by the FBI before but it might have happened before this time

Even killing a teammate at Baylor and covering it up or the Duke lacrosse event didn’t get the FBI involved I don’t think
