GP out at Baylor

I feel like GP needs a way to channel his energy. He could go all in on working on his musical career or develop a new hobby like dancing. I feel like he could be a big enough celebrity to be on Dancing with the Stars. Dancing can also be a great outlet for his competitiveness in doing dance competitions. Trust me, there are plenty of dance studios around Fort Worth to spend a lot of time learning to dance.

Seemed like an odd fit to me. I have more or less made peace w Baylor, but they are still a little weird.
Gary always clearly hated Baylor and wanted to beat them more than most everyone because of the hate.

He always clearly respected UT and wanted to beat them more than most everyone because of the respect.

It makes sense to me he could work for UT but couldn’t stomach working for Baylor.

Did you just pull this dance idea out of your arse, or do you know something about Gary’s passion for dance that the rest of us don’t?

Cause from the outside looking in, it seems like a reeeeaaaalll stretch.

Was I supposed to type something here?
Green wasn't working?
Green is bad, but never wear the Red Shirt. You'll be killed before the opening credits roll...

When Patterson and Holgo did those TV gigs it was a lot of fun, and they were clearly having a blast. TO me, the funniest aspect was Major Applewhite sitting in the back, clearly in absolute awe, scared to utter a sound...

I’m not close to him at all. I feel like he has passion for music. Otherwise, he would not have tried to musician career started while coaching. I feel like he should work on that or do something different like dance. He should also consider broadcasting as well.

Listened to the interview. This is just basically what GP said he wanted to do. Go be a consultant for coaches. Consultants don't say full time. They try and find a fix and head out to the next stop. He said he wanted to develop coaches back in the day. And that's what he did at Texas and looks like the same thing in Waco.

He did admit that he would be a different defensive coordinator or HC now after learing from what he has seen at Texas and BU.
That said, does not seem like he is looking to be a full time coach again.
