It is our fault that we obsess over a program that most people seem to think is so far below us, no?
A rival is a rival no matter how much they suck. That is why I still hate SMU with a passion. Never forget the shoe was and will be on the other foot. If memory serves the Ponies beat us 14-15 times at one point. Let’s just enjoy beating their asses into the ground and then reminding them of what just happened for 365 days straight.

Right on. Some people are allergic to fun.

It's bad. Their TEAM SEC snobbiness is at an all time high. I've been on various message boards tonight and A&M fans seemed to be bigger Alabama fans than Alabama fans are.

I swear A&M fans hate the Big 12 more than they like their own team. They do nothing but [ steaming pile of Orgeron ] on the Big 12 all day. They make fun of how bad defenses are in the Big12 while ignoring the fact 4 Big 12 defenses rank ahead of theirs.
Aggies take credit for the SEC like baylor took credit for the big 12 during their usual seasons. Meanwhile, they live in fear of playing Texas. Since this conference was blessed by their departure, they have had multiple opportunities and invites to schedule Texas.

Must be an age thing. I save my sports hate for UT and ATM.

I seem to remember a talking head moderator last year and this year Mack and Herm were it. Mack was great with his booth experience but Herm was too much and didn't seem to handle the controls well.
I only watched the second half. I had never watched a game in that format. Edwards was pretty unbearable. The back and forth on the control was miserable to watch. If they had better used the telestrator to show why they were just going back and forth constantly, it may have been worthwhile. As it was, it just looked annoying as heck. The game was also hard to follow because the picture was too far out to appreciate what was happening on the field. A couple of times, there was a score and I could not even make it out on the film and the coaches didn't really say what had happened, just a collective groan from them.
Gary did not have that much to say that I heard. As someone mentioned, he seemed checked out. He was playing on his phone more than my wife when we are out on a date. The other coaches egged on Herman with the whole "Casino" thing that he would not shut up about.
I would not likely choose to watch the game like that again unless they improve it.

If eSPecN had any sense,, next time herm would have a “prior engagement” going on something more important like.....out-shouting I Am Me contest with Wendy Williams or re-organizing his sock drawer.

I didn't watch any of it but hearing that Edwards was unbearable is not surprising. That guy has made a career out of being a self-righteous blowhard. Somehow there are people out there that think he's good.

Last year was outstanding. It was fun to watch a game that you’re not emotionally invested in like that.

Edwards ruined it this year with his over the top antics.
