According to Wikipedia, the indisputable fountain of truth and accuracy, Gonzaga last fielded a varsity football team in 1941. From 1892 to 1941, Gonzaga went 134–99–20 (.569) with one bowl appearance, in 1922 in the San Diego East-West Christmas Classic. The Bulldogs lost to the undefeated West Virginia Mountaineers, who claimed a share of the national title that season.no, think they killed the football program during ww2 if i remember correctly
doubt they would get the same share as the other full members
they also have a men's soccer program they will need to place elsewhere
